Torn jeans went out in the sixties; let them stay buried there. Having colours in jeans is also considered fashionable, but stay away from red jeans or pink ones. They will make you look like you borrowed it from your sister.

During summer, beach boy clothing is very popular. It is very casual and comfortable style of clothing. All the outfits are graceful and extra soft. The beach boy clothing includes long shorts, comfortable and cool pants or jeans. The pants and cargos fit the personality of boys and give a smart look. The edgy and donning slim-fitting jeans are popular among boys of all ages. Moreover, the retro patterned shorts, in the neutral colours, give a funky look to boys. The outfits are often complemented with the skate shoes to give a popular beach boy look.

Always be armed with several formal shirts like from oxfords. When mixed with formal trousers, which you should have several off too, they look casual to formal. Again mixing a jacket with this will become very formal.

Ties are something best left to someone elder to select. It is a manly thing. Adults are more prone to selecting a suitable tie for you rather than the other way around. Socks should be plain or patterned, like argyles. Avoid those "bugs bunny" socks at all costs. Although shoes are not considered by most as part of clothing, we feel we should mention them as well. Sneakers are good to wear under jeans but never with a jacket. Two pairs of formals, one black and one brown, should just about complete your wardrobe.
