Pit Latrine Toilets Are More Than Average Pit Toilets

A pit latrine toilet is a special type of ventilated outdoor toilet that provides users with greater sanitation and comfort than the more common, basic pit toilet designs. These outdoor toilets are made from type 304 stainless steel and come in either a latrine design or a handicapped design.

There are more applications for these outdoor pit toilets than the average person might first believe. Conceivably, they can be used in any facility that lacks standard piping and sewer system services. Pit latrine toilets are routinely used in campgrounds, parks, and rest areas along the highway.
