Phrases To Boost Sales

By:

You might have gained more knowledge than you imagined during your marketing education program, and maybe even have some experience with direct sales already. Hopefully, you either have a marketing platform strategy in use, or at least have one in mind. The thing is that you really have to remember to utilize your words to engage potential clients enough to become direct sales.

A poorly worded mass email, blog or post through your social networking can undo a lot of your hard work. Yet, a well written one can make a difference in direct sales overnight. It can, in fact, be what makes you an automatic millionaire. By the way, well written doesn't even have to mean perfect grammar or spelling; it is all about the message and the attraction market the phrases produce.

Power Phrases

Power phrases are basically the right combination of words that create a sense of urgency or lead to a rapid call to action. Power phrases cause people to visualize or feel how something will change their life, almost making it a need instead of a want. Also, as discussed in creating and marketing yourself as a brand, people tend to buy from others because of a feeling of like and trust for the person offering it, not just the product or service itself. People buy emotionally, and they buy based on benefits not features.

Create phrases that appeal to any of these ideas and/or create a sense of urgency. "Fast" or "Now" are power words to use in power phrases. "Speed" is another one. Also, "guaranteed" takes the fear or risk factor out of buying for most potential clients. Offering people what they want and need through your trusted brand by being authentic is the best approach to take when creating power phrases for your home-based business.

Other Tips

Once you learn a bit about which words to use to help interest and engage potential clients, you need to utilize your skills to create the form of a marketing platform that will work. For blogs, posts, comments and things that are meant to be brief, do just that. Keep it to the point. Worse case, write it out and then edit it down.

For places where a longer invitation to learn about your business is appropriate, such as emails, then use every bit of space wisely. The most important part is the headline and/or subject line, as well as including a PS. The subject line and headline grab their attention. The PS either keeps them interested or is the part they skip to without reading the rest. So, if all someone does is read the headline, intro and PS, is your piece powerful enough to get them on board?
