Pc Crafts And Online Craft Courses

By:

I love my PC and I love craft. They are a perfect match to me and they give me a great way to learn new things and to see what is out there.

These past few weeks I have spent a bit of time looking to and to see what is around me in the global craft market.

Years ago I used to teach in Adult Education, lugging my craft materials around the County, teaching in draughty buildings and damp church halls. It was great at the time, but things are moving on and whilst I loved it I knew there was a bigger audience I was yet to meet.

I hated it that I could only teach about 12 people at a time. I loved it when they all said how great it was and if only they had known about the course they'd have come sooner.!

It was bitter sweet but a lesson in how things were.
We were limited to others doing our course advertising.
Limited to access - could the people who wanted to come get to the class?

There are no such limits now. The limits are our own ability to research. To spend the time on our favourite search engine, tracking down what we want.

I love PC craft. It means I can teach hundreds and they can watch me whenever they want through Craft Videos.

The great thing for me is consistency.

When I was teaching in class, like it or not, I had some 'off' days.

Now I know that everyone gets the same standard of delivery. The presentation, the demonstration, the instruction - it is all to a set level. Whoever, and whenever. Each and every time you open up your PC craft package from The Craft Teacher you get the same as everyone else.

When I was teaching in Adult Education I would often be asked to leave some instructions for others to follow when I was not there. Sometimes one of my students would lead a group based on my instructions. It was inconsistent but it was better than nothing.

These days PC Craft gives me a chance to do so much more. I can record video and match it with descriptions and images. I can show close ups, explain details and write instructions that marry up with video.

Yes. PC Crafts are my gateway to all that is crafty.
