Brazil native Paula Hermanny grew up spending time with both her maternal and paternal grandmothers. Joana, her paternal grandmother, was the epitome of grace and sophistication, always perfectly dressed, a lady through and through. Izaura, Paula's maternal grandmother, was a master seamstress and taught Paula everything she new about sewing and design.
