Patches are often connected with motorcycle clubs and Harley owners. This may be a fair point but the truth is that there are plenty of other people who buy these patches as well. These patches are often purchased by collectors who like to display them in a number of ways. The sheer number of patches available today is limitless just like the hours of discovery that many collectors have. Below are just a few of the ways that collectors might choose to display these fantastic patches.

The Biker Vest - The typical leather biker vest is probably the most obvious place for people to display their patches. The biker vest is like a blank canvas where you can display patches showing your political affinities, humorous patches or patches from all the biker rallies that you have been to. Unfortunately, if you have enough patches you could literally cover every inch of a vest and still need more room for display. That's one of the downsides of using the biker vest as your only method of display.

Other Clothing Articles - Along with the biker vest you can use all sorts of other clothing items to display your patches. The great thing about these patches is that most of them come with heat activated glue on the back of them which means they can be adhered to almost any material with an iron. The type of fabrics that work well with this glue include synthetics, polyester and many more. This means that there are so many other places where you can attach your patches. You can attach patches to your T-shirts, jackets and sweatshirts, hats, backpacks, and gym bags. Wherever you may have empty fabric, you can put a patch of your choice.

Photo Albums - A photograph album is the perfect display place for patches should you prefer not to have them on your clothing. If you are going to use photo albums then you might want to get the ones that have the vinyl sleeves or the plastic film in them. Using a photo album means that it is easy to arrange your patches and if you trade in patches, then you will also find that it is easy to take them in and out of the album. Additionally, they are easily more portable when going to a rally or other gathering where you'll be showing your wares.

Display Cases - For the truly serious patch collector there are display cases for a spare room in your home. You might want to go for a specialized display case that comes with lighting and climate control or you may just want a simple box with glass windows. The display case is great because it lets you display a large number of patches at once. There are various ways to arrange your patches such as by age, by collectability, by manufacturer or by theme for example.
