Monsoon is not the right time to bring out those
Casual Wear outfits in enchanting and dreamy light shades. Rather than being a fashion faux pas, it would be mere stupidity to wear Casual Wear outfits in whites, pastels or other light shades during monsoons. As charming as a Party Wear outfits in light shades might look, it is a well known fact that to avoid such an outfit from getting stained or to maintain its pristine look requires much effort. And monsoons with its messy surroundings make this task even more difficult.
While there is no question of thinking about wearing white Casual Wears and
Party Wear outfits during monsoons, playing with the thought of wearing light shades or pastels is best avoided. Apart from the fact that it may get seriously stained which might be almost impossible to remove later, light colored Casual Wear outfits do not do much in terms of adding fun and a bright feel to the gloomy monsoons. They further seem to highlight the pale, dull and dreary surroundings rather than to liven it up. If one does not wish to fade or blend into the background but rather stand out, Casual Wear outfits bold and vibrant colors are the way to go and definitely not pastels. Nevertheless, if one must wear light colored Casual Wear outfits as a result of the affinity for light shades, then a flattering combination of light and dark shades would be the best bet. It is best not to wear light shades below the knee or waist, to be on the safe side. Dark colored clothing on the lower part of the body is an effective shield against muddy puddles on the streets. Whereas it is pretty safe to have light colors when it comes to yokes, bodice or even sleeves of an outfit; in short, anything that is on the upper part of the body. Alternatively, rather than opting for deep colored printed motifs or pattern against a light background, it would be better to choose light colored printed pattern against a dark background.
