Passover Parties Are Great When You Add Some Party Games

When celebrating the exodus from Egypt, Passover games will add some fun to the occasion. On the first two nights there is a Passover Party seder, and the story is retold from the Haggadah. During the duration of Passover, it is forbidden to eat Chametz (leavening).

Passover Memory Game. Passover Memory Game is played by placing Passover cards, with Passover imagery, face down on a table. The object of the game is to match the Passover images with their twins.

Frog Bucket Toss. Frogs were one of the ten plaques that fell upon Egypt. Frog Bucket Toss is a game in which players must toss rubber frogs into a bucket. The game is played by throwing frogs at a bucket from a distance. The player who can make the most frogs in the bucket is the winner. Give each player a certain amount of throws per round. At the end of the rounds, the player with the most frogs made wins.

Find the 10 Plaques. Find the 10 Plagues is played by placing toys of the 10 plaques around the party area. The 10 plaques include water to blood, frogs, flies, gnats or lice, locusts, livestock disease, boils, darkness, thunder and hail, and death of the first born. Put a time limit on it to get the guests going, and see who finds the most in the least time.

Passover Sedar B.I.N.G.O. Passover Sedar B.I.N.G.O. is played like a standard game of B.I.N.G.O. but instead of numbers, Passover imagery is used. This makes for a great teaching tool for younger children who are learning the meaning and the different aspects of Passover. Once an image is called, older party guests can point to the image and give an explanation what the Passover symbol signifies and why it is important.

Passover Trivia. There are so many trivia questions about Passover, so have everyone, young and older, participate in the game. This is a fun game for young children learning the meaning of Passover and how important this time of the year is for the Jewish people. Ask questions to the party guests and give Passover stickers to the players who answer the questions correctly. The player with the most stickers at the end of the game is the winner.

Four Can Play For Passover. Passover Game of Four is played like a game of Go Fish but with the purpose of teaching children about the Sedar in a fun way.
