At an October 22 company Halloween Bash in San Francisco, Party City announced its continuing sponsorship of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America with a $450,000 check. Actor Mario Lopez, a former Boys & Girls Clubs of member, presented the check on behalf of Party City.
Party City culminated its year-long donation drive with a Boys & Girls Clubs Halloween Fair the following day at the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, CA. Two Hundred kids from San Francisco Boys & Girls Clubs dressed in costumes donated by Party City and experienced a day of Halloween fun. Activities included trick-or-treating, roller coaster rides, and photo opportunities with Looney Tunes characters like Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and Daffy Duck.
Because the recession has been hard on many families, and children are especially vulnerable to the struggles of their parents, Party City remains committed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of young people.
