From time to time, everyone has to go on a relaxing vacation in order to get away from their average day to day life. Do you feel like you are in need of a break? Well, we do. Recently, we visited Palma City and that is why we are recommended Palma City breaks to you. Palma is the major port and city located on the island of Majorca. There are a lot of historical aspects that you will be able to view in the area. We enjoy the statues that are standing on the grounds. Between the year 902 and 1229, this area was under Islamic control.

If you are looking for some comfortable places to rest while you are traveling through the town, there are some really great hotels in the area. The hotel we stayed at offered a friendly atmosphere, room service and very comfortable beds.

We normally do not sleep well at night when we are out of our own bed, but that room was so comfortable that we slept like a baby.

If you are interested in shopping, then you will find some of the finest shopping plazas the world has to offer. In fact, we found a dress that is normally five hundred dollars for only two hundred dollars while we were vacationing in this town! As for the food, there are many fine restaurants that know how to cook up a mean meal.

For your transport hub, you must see the Placa d'Espanya. It is the center for trains and buses. You will also find a couple of cafes on both sides of the escalators that lead into the buildings. Around it is a large popular park. When you look out on the lawns, you will see a couple of glass boxes. The glass boxes are letting ventilation and light into the station that is below the ground.
