Palm Beach Car Dealer Proud Of Toyota's Strong Q1 Profit

By:

Well, Toyota has done it again. Coming off of millions of recalls, mean words from the media and now even withheld findings from the government on accidents involving the recalled Prius cars, Toyota is still achieving record sales and consumer still seem to love the product.

Palm Beach used car buyers were out in force last quarter, but so were new car buyers who helped Toyota post an operating profit of about $1.1 billion in the second quarter. After last years loss, this year is really looking up for Toyota Motor Corp. and they have loyal customers to thank for it.

As the worlds largest auto maker, Toyota has dealt with a lot in the past year, but has continued its innovative development of fuel efficient vehicles and is even field testing the Plug-in Prius model before it becomes available to the public next year.

The profit Toyota has gained this year is all the more remarkable because the company has had to stop production of plants in China due to supply shortages resulting from strikes. Sale also have increased for Toyota in the Middle East region as well as making a comeback in the United States.

Buyers of used cars in Palm Beach, Florida should be impressed with the quality of Toyotas products, which the company has backed up 100 percent. Since the recall, Toyota seems to have kept its promise to focus on customer satisfaction.

Since Toyota does compete with the likes of Ford and General Motors, the Prius has been a huge boon for the company stateside as it has out-gunned any hybrid even conceived by other makers. Palm Beach used car buyers also have sought out the Prius.

Toyota could be looking at rougher financial waters later this year as the government of Japan stops subsidies for eco cars. But in the meantime, the U.S. government may give more tax credits for purchasing them, so it might be even-Steven after all.

The Japanese auto maker is forecasting an operating profit for the current fiscal year which is up 90 percent from this past year. Customers are not so concerned about the profit margin of the maker, except when its extremely high and prices dont come down or when the company goes broke and the customers pay for it on both ends. What Palm Beach used car customers and other want to know is how well the product delivers.

Toyota is certainly profiting in that area. Customer loyalty, even through the recall debacle, remained high and Toyota continues to win industry awards, many based on customer ratings of individual product features and overall performance. I think its official: Toyota is here to stay.
