Mushroom and toadstool goes back centuries. In fairy tales there are children stories of toads sitting on the mushrooms catching flies with their tongues.

The mushroom is an ideal Paleo food. Raw mushrooms are low in cholesterol, saturated fats and sodium. Contains: vitamins B6, vitamin C and vitamin D. Minerals: selenium, potassium, iron, zinc, potassium and host of trace minerals.

Paleo Marinate Mushroom Recipe
Easy Paleo recipe prepare in approximately 10 minutes. Prepared with unsaturated olive oil and dried or fresh spices.

Ingredients:
- 1 pound small mushrooms (cleaned)
- 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 red onion (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon grounded black pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried or fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon dried or fresh rosemary
- 3 garlic cloves (peeled and finely chopped)
- 1 tablespoon raw honey

Preparation:
- In medium saucepan combine all ingredients EXCEPT MUSHROOM.
- Bring marinade to boil and reduce heat.
- Stir in mushroom and let simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove from heat and place in container.
- Cover container with marinated mushroom and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Serve

Paleo Bacon Wrapped Mushrooms Recipe
What could be easier the only two ingredients you need are bacon and mushrooms

Ingredients:
20 bacon strips
20 mushrooms (cleaned and drained)

Preparation:
-Preheat oven 400 degrees F
-Preheat bacon to soft stage before wrapping.
-Wrap each mushroom with bacon strip.
-Secure wrap with toothpick.
-Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
-Place on baking sheet.
-Bake for approximate 10-12 minutes until bacon evenly brown and crispy.
-Remove and Serve

Bacon Wrapped Marinated Mushrooms
The marinated mushrooms can be bacon wrapped. Marinate mushrooms in olive oil and spices. Then wrap mushrooms in bacon strips. Follow above recipe and instructions. Remove from oven and enjoy.

Paleo Mushroom Red Wine Recipe
Wine is a controversial food in Paleo Diet. Wine is popular food in the Mediterranean diet and has proven health benefits. Recipe for flexible Pale dieters. Recipe can be topped with nutritious seeds of choice.

Ingredients:
-1 tablespoon olive oil
-2 pounds fresh mushrooms
-1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (to taste)
- cup red wine
-3 cloves minced garlic
-3 tablespoons fresh chives
-Sea salt (to taste)
-Black pepper (to taste)

Preparation:
-Over medium heat place skillet.
-Place mushrooms and seasoning simmer for approximately 10 minutes
-Mix in red wine, garlic and chives until vegetable soft (approximately 1-2 minutes)
-Remove from heat and SERVE.
