Why do companies offer paid surveys? That is a question people often ask. The reason many companies do it is because it is a cost effective way to do market research.
Often they will do surveys before bringing out a new product to test if there is a market for it. There is no point spending millions if there is no market for the product. Market research companies spend millions each year finding out this information.
What they normally do is target the people that are likely to be their customers. They then offer them money to complete email or postal surveys. Or sometime they will contact them by telephone or face to face interviews.
That is where paid survey membership websites come in. They have a list of all these companies that are will to pay for your opinion. To find these sites do a search on Google under paid surveys and you will find loads. Be careful though and always go for ones that have good reviews.
Four tips to help you get more paid surveys:
1. Don't just go for the high paying surveys. Fill in some that are not offering big cash rewards. These smaller amounts soon add up at the end of the month.
2. Set a regular time aside to fill out your paid surveys. Treat it as a job and at the end of the month your payment will reflect it. Also, if you can set a place where you fill out these surveys. Somewhere that is no television to distract you.
3. Use a program like roboform to help you fill out your details. This will save you loads of time and free up more time for you to fill out even more surveys.
4. Phone paid survey company once a month to ask if they have any more surveys.This will let them know you are ready for more work.
