National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), USA:


NASA works on several technical challenges with incidences in the areas of supercomputing, utilities management, and avionics. OTRS provided a seamless integration with NASA is systems to meet their special requirements through customized modules. OTRS also ensured reduction in their license costs. The existing ARS Remedy was replaced with OTRS. All the modules were customized to meet the unique requirements of NASA and integration with SGI ticket system and CRM was done.

Philips:


Philips wanted to consolidate all their Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) activities within the DACH (Deutschland, Austria, and Switzerland) region. They required an ITIL-compatible solution to support the merger. The main focus of the project was configuration and incidence management. The solution included a rollout of OTRS ITSM as a virtual service desk for ten (10) locations. Integration was done with an internally developed configuration management database (CMDB). HP Service Center and OmniTracker were replaced.

Toshiba, Europe:


Toshiba used Siebel CRM for their customer support international call centers at 11 locations. They wanted to switch to a more cost-effective framework as the annual license costs were high for the present solution. The solution included replacement of the existing Siebel CRM solution while retaining the required functionalities and integration with the existing processes. By implementing OTRS, Toshiba had a significant cut in their cost sand also gained the benefits of a flexible and easily customizable solution.
