She beat other contenders like Lady Gaga, Madonna, Beyonce Knowles, Britney Spears, and Ellen DeGeneres to secure the top spot. As it goes, Oprah Winfrey with her own chat show and magazine has made more money than the other top 5 put together!
Winner by a Large Margin
Oprah Winfrey displays earnings of about $324 million in the past year and annually! By any standards, this is a whopping amount. When it is considered that the number 2 spot is taken by the beautiful Beyonce Knowles with $89 million as her take home earnings, Oprahs achievement comes into a better perspective. Sandra Bullock is the only actress on the list and her 2010 was not that sanguine.

Her show is known for the great transparency and parity that Oprah maintains with her audience. She has always been ready to share her wealth on Teachers Day specials and even for victims of natural disasters.
