How many times have thought to yourself, "if only I could package and sell that idea"? A properly planned and executed opportunity at home awaits anyone with a great idea and the motivation to see that idea succeed. Do not dismiss ideas because they are simple, you don't have to be a scientist to invent a great product or provide a new service.

Consider some simple ideas that might earn you income or save you significant expenses while at home. Maybe you created a successful diet and exercise program for yourself and lost 15 pounds last year. You might be able to market the program itself (if it was your own creation) or you might create a website to network different diet and exercise programs for people with different goals or abilities. There could be programs for children, seniors, or programs that combine pet workouts with their owners.

Maybe your opportunity at home lies in something special you grow in your garden. Last year, I grew too many tomatoes in my very small garden area and instead of giving most away before they spoiled, my neighbors taught me how to can them. The tomatoes are canned when they are ripe and now I can enjoy them all year long. I had so many tomatoes last year that I created my own labels and gave several jars of fresh fruit as gifts at Christmas to my friends and family. The labels were fun to create and I saved a lot of money on gifts and wrapping during the holidays. Maybe you could put an empty portion of your yard to work with your spare time and save income or expenses. I receive thankful calls throughout the year when my tomatoes get used and enjoyed.

An opportunity at home may await a sharp mom who creates a local network of care-providers that are rated according to satisfaction and surprise visits by the networking provider. Maybe a sharp mom could start a website that provided surveillance for all the local child-care providers. A web-camera installed at each facility and a website could become a gold mine! A sharp child-care provider would be glad to allow such surveillance - especially if it does not cost them anything.

Any sharp invention or idea that is useful, no matter how simple, could be your opportunity at home to earn extra income or to save on numerous expenses.
