Include simple, inexpensive actions and some that cost more but that can positively affect future sales.  Consider simple actions such as having sign holders placed strategically along key roads close to your business. Make your business bright and eye-catching from the outside. Hold in-store promotions and sales. Budget money to grow your business. Advertise your business. Look into newspaper, radio and television advertising.
 
There are many other marketing and advertising actions to consider. Just remember that if you are opening a dollar store it is important to increase sales immediately and to take action that will cause sales to continue to increase into the future.
