Most online business owners love a passionate buyer.

Someone that gets to our online business to make a purchase because they are passionate about their children, their education, their spouse, their friends or their sport. These buyers are targeted and they are coming with dollars in their hands looking for the best option they can find.

These people are the life blood of E-Commerce and they are the ones that help online business entrepreneurs, either moms making money at home or part time online business owners, become successful with online marketing.

The passionate purchaser may well start out looking for one thing but purchase several other things along the way because they look good and it almost meets the expectation of what they are looking for.

Most online business opportunities are sold on the passion to be successful and if you examine some of the social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook where people are discussing online business opportunities, you will notice that a lot of time is spent feeding people's passion to be successful and then selling them tools that will supposedly help fulfill this passion.

A great amount of online purchases are based on passion and our love of enjoyment and happiness.

Food and wine sites do great business by feeding our passion of great food and drink. Health food sites feed our passion to be healthy and eat healthy food and most then use the same passion to get down lines to sell healthy food and drink because they can generate a trust and belief in the product and this in turn feeds the passion.

The greatest example has to be the pharmaceutical sites though that feed on men's passion in particular to be a greater lover!

Think about something that you are passionate about and think how easy it would be to be sold on this topic. Passionate targeted visitors to your website are just a delight to have around and if we look after them they may even put us into their favorites or bookmark our home page. The last thing we want to do though is to kill people's passion so make sure if you feeding it that you do so well and don't leave your customer dissatisfied.

A fine example of this is some of the sites you will no doubt come across as an online marketer that will promise you a solution to your problem only to then become a part of the problem themselves.

What would the online business owner think if when they entered this site they found a hundred different ways to submit their site to FFA or search engines, links to traffic surfing sites and a hundred offers to purchase guaranteed visitors?

You would have to think they would feel more anger, more frustration and more disillusionment.

These are not the feelings that we want to elicit so we have to be honest and treat people with respect if we want them to stay around and be customers in the future.

The trick is to feed people's passions and fears but also be honest with our solutions to people's problems.

This builds credibility and strengthens business relationships that can lead to valued clients sticking around and purchasing from you for years to come.
