One Week Marketing Plan Review - From A Personal Viewpoint

I actually downloaded One Week Marketing on the very first day of release. I was so desperate to read it that I printed off every single sheet (all 100+!) and took them along to the hairdressers with me that morning. I got some funny looks as I sat there having highlights, whilst reading through a wad of photocopies, which I hadn't even had time to bind! However, it was pretty unusual for me to have a couple of hours to simply "read" and read I did!

My experiences since have lead me to do a One Week Marketing Plan review.

It felt so exciting on that morning, you know that feeling of anticipation you used to get at Christmas? Well, I guess it was a bit like that. I had been using Squidoo for a few weeks as part of my efforts to make money online. My journey had began on the 5th June 2008, the very day that I became a member of the wealthy Affiliate community. I knew absolutely nothing about making money online-even less about using my computer for anything other than emailing and surfing the web for clothes.

The resources in Wealthy Affiliate really are astounding-there is no other word for it really. However, for a newcomer like me, there was almost too much information. I could tell that there was absolutely everything I needed there, but it was where to start which was the problem. However, I did start, and by mid July, I had already made a few dollars online.

I had come across Jen Leadbetter, the author of One Week Marketing when looking for information about Squidoo, (a great resource for making free webpages) and I later "bumped into her" when she joined Wealthy Affiliate in July. I had found her information so incredibly helpful that when I discovered she was making One Week Marketing, it was a no-brainer-I simply had to get my hands on it as soon as possible. (Hence why I had it in my hands on the day of release!)

My One Week Marketing Review concentrates on how it all worked for me.

Before getting hold of OWM, my attempts with Squidoo can only be described as haphazard. I had no plan as such. I found it very difficult to organize my evenings, when I did most of my marketing. I would be jumping from one activity to another, not really knowing what to do-in fact there lies one of the problems with internet marketing.

There are simply so many ways of making money online that it is very easy to move from one thing to another without really giving anything a proper chance of working.

One Week Marketing revolves around using tried and tested free ways to make money online. It teaches you how to use Squidoo effectively, in a way that monetizes it. The reason it worked for me so well is because it uses easy to follow systems and steps which is precisely what I needed at that point in my internet marketing career. I also found that it built up my confidence to a level where I knew what the possibilities were outside of Squidoo-I can only liken it to being a baby bird, learning how to fly. One day, you suddenly realize that you can do it, and off you go. For me, this meant learning how to build my own simple website and building up Pay Per Click campaigns.

Ironically, as I am sat here typing, I have a little "icon" or widget in the right hand corner of my PC. (I'm not even sure what the correct term is!). When I make a Clickbank sale, the amount pops up in the corner. As I've written this article, two sales had popped up, totalling just over $62-both from Squidoo pages, both done following the One Week Marketing Plan.
