Tour Details
Our representative will pick you up from Aqaba Port by the cruise exit door. After that you will be transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle about 1.5 hours to the rose red rock city Petra, a must-see in the Middle East. Upon arrival at the Visitors Centre start with your guide on horse back or on foot to the Siq, a narrow gorge, and continue to the beautiful Treasury. From here walk to the Street of Facades and the Royal
Tombs. After buffet lunch at 5 star hotel drive 1.5 hrs to the protected area of Wadi Rum, one of the most impressing desert landscapes in the world. The area was made famous in the west by Lawrence of Arabia who described it as vast, echoing and god-like. Discover the area featured by rugged mountains and coloured sand dunes during a 44 Jeep tour, enjoy canyosns, sand dunes and rock inscriptions. Then continue 40 minutes to Aqaba Port.
N.B:
1- The tour requires considerable walking, the number of horses in Petra is limited.
2- During cruise arrivals many visitors reaching Petra at the same time, this is the reason why a local English speaking guide cannot be guaranteed at once, waiting time from up to 30 minutes is possible before tour start.
