This is the day when we officially enter the year of the water dragon, according to the Chinese calendar. We all know how influential Chinese traditions, beliefs and culture are nowadays.

Feng Shui is also one of the most popular practices almost everywhere. It is believed to ward off bad luck and to invite good luck in. Usually, Feng Shui applies to new houses, new businesses and new establishments being built. Of course, it is not limited to that alone. It is generally being practiced for practically everything.

For as long as Chinese beliefs are involved, you can expect to see some Feng Shui touches in some ways. When it comes to fashion, you can expect to see some Feng Shui touches as well. More than clothes, Chinese Feng Shui is more commonly found in accessories. Bracelets, necklaces, amulets and small figurines are the most common Feng Shui accessories.

2012 is the year of the water dragon in the Chinese calendar. That means you can expect to see lots of images and figurines of dragons. You really do not have to necessarily go down to China town just to get your piece of dragon fashion. If you search for it online, you will surely be able to find lots of it. In fact, a lot of Chinese businessmen have online stores as well.

Of course, you can expect big discounts when you buy their merchandise in bulk. That is how Chinese businessmen in general run their business. You can find lots of dragon cufflinks made of precious minerals on the internet. You will also find lots of Chinese-inspired prints that mean good luck.

It does not really hurt to buy these wonderfully-made merchandises even if you do not believe in Feng Shui. Nobody is forcing you to believe in something you do not want to believe in. This time, at least try to embrace other culture so you can understand why it came to be. Just give yourself an hour or two and roam around China town.

You will be surprised how much fashionable they can get when it comes to accessories. You will also find out that there are different lucky charms that will surely suit your taste.
