Education, as always, remains the key to surviving, whether it is a good or, as recently, a depressed economy. Your education can never be taken away from you, no matter what happens around you and no matter how depressed times maybe. For most people, education is the great equalizer among them and other members of society. It allows self-improvement and improved chances of survival in the workplace. A major facet of President Obama's education program has been to allow improvement for single mothers looking to improve their education and standing in the workforce. The nation's economy has been in disrepair in recent years, as has the role of single motherhood. There is now recognition of filling this void and an attempt to do so. There seems little reason not to try to reap the rewards of a more stable and better-paying job.
