Oak Park Toyota Prius Dealers Equipped To Face Fierce Competition

Despite the more and more automakers that are jumping on the eco-friendly bandwagon, Toyota is one automaker that need not fret. More often than not, Toyota is the name that comes to mind when talking about hybrid cars. The companys Prius is one of the most popular hybrids in the world and achieves the best fuel economy out of any other hybrid on the road. The Prius arrived at Chicago Toyota dealerships over a decade ago and was an immediate success despite the fact that the Prius meant covering unchartered territory. The tests found that the used 2002 model delivered the same exceptional fuel economy and retained its powerful battery performance.

The wildly successful Prius compelled Toyota to expand their hybrid lineup with cars including the Camry and Highlander hybrids. Also in the works is an all new 2012 hybrid RAV4. The popular car was one of the first crossovers ever introduced when it debuted at your Chicago RAV4 dealer in 1996. Offering the utility of a truck and the agility of a sedan, the RAV4 has been a favorite among consumers and will only get better with Toyotas hybrid technology.

In addition to fuel efficiency, power, styling and reliability, affordability is also a contributor to the success of Toyotas hybrid lineup. The Prius is under $21,000 making it one of the most affordable cars in its class. Figures have not yet been release for the RAV4 hybrid, but Chicago residents can expect it to wear a similar price tag when it arrives at their Chicago RAV4 dealer next year.
