Another requirement to get a nursing degree is 30 to 80 hours of experience in the field. Clinicals, as they are called, may be practiced in any medical field depending on the choice of the nurse as to where he would like to work eventually. Possible options depend on the type of nurse you want to become, namely, operating room nurses, neonatal nurses, midwife, home health nurses, ER nurses, critical care nurses, clinical research nurses, cardiac nurses, and more.
