Nokia's Top Selling Xpressmusic Phone

By:

Other than Nokia's popular Nseries, Nokia is also known to have released popular music phones under the name of XpressMusic. The Nokia XpressMusic is a brand name for a line of Nokia phones that are specially designed for music playback. The XpressMusic range of phones was launched to compete with the Walkman brand series of Sony Ericsson. One of its most popular Cellular phones for sale yet is the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic mobile phone.

Code-named the "Tube," the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is considered as the first touchscreen-equipped S60 device by Nokia. It is wholly part of the XpressMusic series of phones that mainly emphasizes on music and multimedia playback. What made the 5800's touchscreen feature unique is its compatibility with Java applications that are not touchscreen-aware. It works by using part of the screen for displaying the essential buttons required by the program.
