No Win No Fee Claims

By: Ankit

No win no fee claims are made in accident cases where the victim was not responsible for causing the accident. This genuine cost-free and risk-free service covers accidents in road traffic, at work, in schools, and with defective products. Such claims can be made by drivers, passengers, pedestrians, and cyclists, in case of traffic accidents.
You can also make a No win no fee claim if an accident takes place at work, and you can prove that your employer was responsible for it. Your employer can be sued for causing an accident if your workplace does not adhere to strict safety rules and regulations.
If you are involved in a work-related accident
, enter an accurate report in the Accident Report Book and ensure that your employers report injuries to the Health and Safety Executive. Most employers purchase insurance policies for injuries suffered while at work. The first report you give should not go into excessive detail, which could prove distracting and lead to lack of clarity.
You can also make a No win no fee claim if you are injured in a sporting or leisure activity and if you can show that the accident was someone else’s fault or was caused due to the use of faulty equipment. You cannot make claims if the accident was your fault.
In most accident cases, the compensation is paid by the other party’s insurance company, but sometimes you can get claims accepted even in hit and run cases, where no insurance policy is available. You should be able to prove that the accident was the other party’s fault. You can also make a claim if you slip or trip in a public place, such as a shop, office, or pavement, since it is the duty of the owner to make such a place accident-proof.
Examples of such accidents include the following:
• Being hit by a forklift while making a delivery of goods
• Falling down a slide and into a splash pool with a low water level
• Cars crashing into stationary vehicles
• Exploding cans that contain various products
• Hit and run accidents
Injuries covered by no win no fee claim clauses include:
• Whiplash Injury
• Car crashes
• Lacerations
• Fractures
The lawyers who fight no win no fee cases are experts and specialists in personal injury law who can explain legal issues in simple language, and are members of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) or the Law Society Personal Injury Panel.
