Nlp, Beliefs, And Values

All of us have beliefs about ourselves, our skills, our capabilities and etc. Not only beliefs about ourselves, we also have beliefs about other, how they communicate, what drives them, etc. Put simply, you have believes about everything in this world, even you dont like about politics, but Im sure you have a belief about politics.

Beliefs is our map of world, its underlie your internal representations. Therefore, beliefs have an influence on your emotional state and behavior. Do you ever ask about your beliefs and values to yourself? Do you ever ask something like this: How do my beliefs guide me and live my life? Do my values and beliefs serve me?

You get a belief and value from how you experience this world. Once you are able to become more aware of the distorted beliefs you hold, it is possible to begin to question them and challenge them. NLP therapy has a specific tool called the meta-model that is able to uncover the troublesome distortions and generalisations that people are making.

Beliefs about the world and yourself can actually determine what happens. They are not just thoughts but effect what you focus on. We know in NLP that what you focus on your more likely to get it. Please note that our unconscious mind cant understand a negative. For the example, if you focus about you dont want to late, you will late. NLP therapy teaches people the importance of communicating in the positive when you are thinking.

Believe it or not, limiting beliefs can prevent you from achieve the things you want. When we accept our limited beliefs, our behavior will accept it too. You have to do something to change your limited beliefs. In NLP there are many techniques to change your limited beliefs, so you can move on and experience a new world.
