The age of green has arrived, and businesses around the world are coming together to make an eco-friendly future a reality. Some of the businesses taking part in the revolution are surprising, considering theyve been huge contributors to the problems that pollution causes, but that doesnt mean they cant change their colors. Businesses across the auto industry are a prime example, with New Jersey Porsche dealers representing the most recent news out of the green driving camp. Yes, Porsche of all brands is the most recent addition to the green revolution and that isnt to say Porsche is a bad company. What I really mean is that it has taken luxury and sports car manufacturers some time to adjust to the new aesthetic because they have built their empires based on powerful engines, and green technology hasnt come far enough yet to offer true power in an engine. It will get there in the coming years from a hybrid perspective, but electric driving is on the horizon. We cant say exactly how EVs will affect the industry, but there are plenty of auto brands jumping on the opportunity to break into the market. And now, NJ Porsche dealers are proud to say they might be carrying an electric vehicle of their own in the coming years.

The Porsche Boxster is a classic vehicle and one of Porsches flagship models. Now, Porsche is planning on testing an electric version of its famous Boxster (rebranded as the e-Boxster), and we expect that it will include all the bells and whistles of the traditional Boxster with the extra benefit of fantastic fuel efficiency. New Jersey Porsche drivers are sure to love this brand new car. But when are we likely to see one of these cars hitting the market? A new article at All Cars Electric sheds some light on the situation: Will we see the e-Boxter on sale in a few years? At the moment its tough to say, since Porsche maintains that the three electric cars taking part into the Stuttgart electric vehicle study are nothing more than rolling laboratories. With more and more luxury and sportscar manufacturers stepping into the electric car arena though were sure Porsche will want to have at least a plug-in hybrid version of the Boxster within the next five years. NJ Porsche fanatics cant wait to see this innovative vehicle on the roads in the coming future, but we dont know exactly when that will be. What we do know is that the model is expected to give off zero tailpipe emissions, which is a huge step forward in the progression of the Boxster model.

For New Jersey Porsche drivers, the release of the e-Boxster could mean big things for driving. With an electric version of the famous car, drivers would be able to take advantage of the famous features and the progressive fuel economy. NJ Porsche drivers have never had the ability to take advantage of such a great package, and we expect the e-Boxster to fly off the shelves once it launches.
