The summer weather is getting ready to kick into full gear. I can barely wait to get out in a convertible and really enjoy the sunny weather, top down and driving fast down the highway with the wind blowing through my hair. And this summer is going to be especially good in the convertible category, with the newest iteration of the Nissan 370Z hitting the roads. I was a big fan of last years 40th Anniversary edition of the car and got to test-drive one, complete with all the extra trimmings. You probably wont be able to find one of these at a used Nissan dealer in NJ, but you will be able to find the 2010 model if you hit up a new dealership.

Now, most of us out there wouldnt mind taking this cost-effective yet flashy and sporty looking vehicle out around the block. The Nissan 370Z is a sporty two-seat convertible with a base price of $37,690 and a Touring Edition price of $47,690, making it one of the more affordable sports car drives on the market. The 370Z has always been a huge hit with NJ preowned Nissan drivers as it also offers the dependability you would expect from a high-end Nissan. The new round of 370Z runs on a powerful platform, leveraging a 3.7-liter V6 that pumps out a solid 332 horsepower and a respectable 270 pound-feet of torque. Drivers who visit their new and used Nissan dealer in NJ can choose between a six speed manual or a seven speed. In terms of fuel economy, the 370Z runs about average for its class, not sucking up too much oil.

I have been dreaming of purchasing a Porsche convertible ever since I was a child and I saw the look on my fathers face when he got to test-drive his first one. It was one of those moments that just embeds in your memory for your entire life. I remember we were at a NJ preowned Nissan dealership the day before, and it must have been right around the time the 370Z was just beginning to gain a little steam. We took it out on the highway and really opened her up, with the wind pressing my cheeks back, until we cruised back into the parking lot. My dad said to me, Son, some day Im going to own a car just like this. He never did buy that car, and he died last year, so its my duty to carry out one of the things on his bucket list. I wont be visiting a used Nissan dealer in NJ, however. Ill be headed to a new dealership to give the new 370Z a test-spin.

Now more than ever is the time to buy that car that youve always had your eye on. The technology is finally making the switch to the 21st century, and NJ preowned Nissan drivers are jumping on the bandwagon and checking out what kind of new innovations the brand has to offer. For instance, the new Leaf uses electric engine technology to power its engine.
