Wouldn"t it be great to be cruising around in a sports car on this glorious spring day? Not to brag, but I"ve had an Audi R8 Spyder for years and I love the car. It"s perfect to take out in this weather and cruise the highway with the windows down and the wind blowing through your hair. MotorWeek is doing its part to bring a little recognition to the Spyder, and New Jersey Audi drivers are proud of their brand. In fact, MotorWeek honored the R8 Spyder with a MotorWeek 2011 Drivers" Choice Award for Best Dream Machine. The Spyder truly is a machine of dreams, with a sleek, powerful build that zips around corners and punches the throttle in the straightaway. A car like this belongs in a movie about my life, but I was fortunate enough to incorporate it into my actual life, which in turn makes me feel like a movie star. Alas, I am not a movie star, no matter what my eighth grade drama teacher predicted. The Spyder is on an elite list of long-running sports cars that pack quite the punch, and the vote, which takes into account the opinions of the consumer, seems pretty fair in my book. If we can eliminate emissions and simultaneously cut down heavily on accidents, there is definitely a huge value in moving to automatic driving.
