Nintendo Wii vs Xbox 360 Price Comparison

The first thing you need to know when choosing a game console is your budget and how much you are willing to spend. The Xbox 360 by far has the higher price. It starts at $360.00 and goes up if you want upgraded or elite version. The Nintendo Wii is one of the most cheapest high-quality consoles and usually starts at $250.00.

Hardware Reliability and Durability Comparison

Nintendo Wii is one of the most durable consoles, never crashes and by far more reliable. The Xbox 360 based on consumer reviews has some common problems including the common "Red Ring of Death". It is a common term for the three flashing red lights around the Xbox 360 power button. Users noted that when your Xbox is experiencing this condition, it is about to give-up. This makes Wii superior in this department. You don't have to worry about crashing or repair if you have Nintendo Wii.

Graphics Comparison

Graphics is the most important featured you'll need to consider when buying a game console system. Excellent graphics is what makes playing more interesting. The Xbox 360 has better graphics and is very clear. The Nintendo Wii's graphics are good compared to other consoles but is not comparable to Xbox 360. Graphics is one of the best features of Xbox 360 that's why its called "console for extreme gaming experience".

The Xbox 360 is more superior in this department. It has a lot of gaming features and capabilities. You can play any media files from Zune, all connect your iPod to it and play all MP3's. There is also an option to change the faceplate. The Wii on the other hand has some online capabilities where you can download music and movies but it doesn't have a gaming capabilities like Xbox.

Exclusive Games and Other Factors

These two game consoles have very different games and capabilities. The Xbox 360 is designed for all occasions therefore targets large audience and offers a wide variety of games. Xbox is designed for kid gamers to hardcore game addicts. Nintendo Wii on the other hand is more on family-oriented games and is not designed for hardcore gamers that play war or shooting games. Though these type of games can be played on Wii, it is not designed for it.

There are more features that both consoles can be offered to all types of gamers, but the decision is yours to do depending on your personal needs and gaming preference. I have both consoles from Electronic Review Center but personally, I am leaning on Nintendo Wii due to my personal preferences. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide what you need for your self and your family.
