New Waterfront Apartments Launched By Berkeley Homes In Gosport

By:

Developer Berkeley Homes enlisted the assistance of Cllr Christopher Carter, the Mayor of Gosport, last Friday 10th June, to launch its new phase of apartments at Royal Clarence Marina. The Chandlers features a selection of unique one- and two-bedroom properties in a building that replicates the original Georgian granary and bakery that was demolished after sustaining damage in World War II.

The initial release has a selection of apartments priced from £155,000 to £325,000. Each of these 43 Hampshire new homes is different and the four floors of residential property in the mixed-use building will feature several different property types: apartments, Manhattan suites and duplexes. With large picture windows, and private balconies to some properties, each home will make the most of the superb location and splendid views to the front and rear of the building.

"Berkeley is well known for its superb interior design and finish," says Pippa Bugby, Berkeley Southern sales & marketing director, "and the apartments here are fitted with under-floor heating, our top-quality Alno kitchens, beautiful bathrooms, rainfall showers and many other special touches that make a Berkeley home so luxurious. The setting overlooking the yachts and boats in the Marina is perfect and during the recent sunny weather it has been stunning."

The Chandlers is the latest phase to be unveiled at Royal Clarence Marina, where Berkeley Homes has refurbished a number of period buildings as well as re-creating this historic structure. The prestigious waterside location, exceptional views and high-level specification have made the development popular with homebuyers in the area.

Pippa adds: "The Chandlers will stand the test of time as it fits perfectly with the rich heritage of Royal Clarence Marina. However, buyers are equally impressed by our dramatic entrances and hallways (which we have modelled on those found in luxury hotels) and the sophisticated, stylish interior design in the apartments. Our combination here of location, heritage and beautiful, contemporary interiors is unique in this area."

The marina is the deepest on the South Coast and has recently been refurbished. From the development, it's just a 10-minute walk to the ferry which takes you across Portsmouth Harbour to Gun Wharf Quays. From there, a host of transport options is available, including the rail service into London and ferry services across the Solent and English Channel.

By road, it's easy to get to many destinations along the coast, including countless beaches and resorts, two airports, at Southampton and Bournemouth, and the New Forest, as well as the M3 and A3 trunk road. Both Portsmouth and Southampton have a huge range of shops and amenities.
