The revolutionary SureAqua bottle and straw filters and purifies contaminated water to a higher standard than any other portable product in the world.

Years of stringent testing has proven the filter will remove water borne bacteria and viruses including cholera, cryptosporidium and Giardia from any water source, including flood waters.

The SureAqua bottle looks like a simple sports bottle and the straw like oversized "drinking straw", but it is fitted with a sophisticated filtration system utilizing nano membrane technology.

Each SureAquaBottle filters the equivalent of 4-thousand 250ml bottles of water, meaning the impact on the environment and reducing plastics in our landfills would be enormous.

"The products are currently being used to assist aid workers, as well as residents in stricken regions across the globe," says Andie.

"But on a local level, they are already being considered for use by emergency response organizations in some states, and would be perfect for residents in flood stricken regions where water quality has been compromised," she said.

After 7 years of research and years of strenuous testing, the SureAqua products exceed current filtration standards as set by the US CDC of 1 micron. It removes impurities to 0.01 of a micron, which is 100 times greater than current world standards.

Each bottle can be used numerous times and can filter up to a 1000 litres before the shut-off mechanism kicks in. All SureAqua products are free from chemicals and safe for all to use.

Two smaller devices are also included in the range, one which is small enough to fit in a handbag for everyday use.

"We need people to know there is an alternative to bottled water that is proven, safe and kind to the environment," says Andie.

"A catastrophe on the scale of the recent Queensland flooding only emphasizes the need for our governments and aid organizations to be aware that a product like ours is available and can greatly assist the relief effort."
