Neighbors The Watchful Security And Fun People Next Door

By:

How would it be to have a perfect neighbor? A neighbor who smiles whenever you meet. Always ready to take care of your kids when your babysitter is not free and who returns back the things borrowed. Just imagine having a neighbor who shares the common interest you have and respects your privacy.

Frankly, such kinds of neighbors are hard to find as there is no such thing as a perfect neighbor. Yes! It is true. In your entire life, you cannot have a perfect neighbor but you can have a good neighbor. A good neighbor is one who does not interfere in your life and makes sure to give you some privacy.

In your entire life, you must have come across different kinds of neighbors while you were living in an apartment or a house. You must have seen a lot of nuisance neighbors. Neighbors who party all the time and make sure that you know that they are having fun. Having neighbors who have the oily and rusted parts of the car or the car itself strewn about the property, right in front of your eyesight. Neighbors who have a dog that constantly barks at the slightest movement and sound. A neighboring house having an unkempt lawn with the overgrown grass and weed, making you feel that your house is next to an African forest or is on one.

These are some of the nerves cracking real life situations you must have faced. Sometimes these could be the reason that has made you decide to have a word with the neighbor. The result of having a word with the neighbor would be a heated argument and sometimes the thought of taking revenge. This may sound awkward and funny, but it is somewhat true.

Seriously, a situation of heated argument or revenge could be avoided if you just look for the reason. Just like an English proverb look before you leap, there could be a reason why your neighbor has created such a situation.

To have a peaceful relationship with your neighbor, the most important thing is to communicate with him or her. Think how well you know your neighbor. Do you know where he or she works? Do you know who all are there in his or her family? Is he or she married or divorced or single? It is good to know about these things before you speak to your neighbor about the problems you face with him or her.

If you find the party noise annoying, you could go and knock at the door step of the neighbor and inform him or her. Most of them will understand and try to reduce the party noise. You could inquire why your neighbor has his rusted car and its oily parts spread all over the front yard. Maybe it could be because your neighbor has not found a good mechanic to repair it or he or she hasn't the slightest idea on how to fix it. In that case, you could volunteer to help by calling a know mechanic.

The uneasy nature of the dog could be because it has not been properly trained and your neighbor could be having the idea of sending it to an obedience school. Even the uncut grass or the weed could be because your neighbor was busy at work due to late shifts or overtime. It could also because he or she does not have the equipment to mow the lawn and felt shy in asking you.

Either way, sometimes communicating with your neighbors can help you to live peacefully in your neighborhood. You should always remember that good neighbors are like effective security systems such as ADT Alarm System that protect your house. Neighbors will inform you if any person trespasses your property and if burglars have entered your house.

In short you cannot expect the people who live near you to be good neighbors unless you are one.
