Need A Little Extra Heat?

Down here in Cedar City, my life has been saved my an electric heater the air is quite cold! The wind feels like a million fans blowing ice cold air into your face. What I would give for some heat. A heater of any kind would make me so happy right now. In my girlfriend's apartment the are trying to save money by not using their heater, so they have a little electric heater to heat them up. I sixty watt space heater does not do much in the way of heat or any kind of warmth. You can't even tell that there is any heat coming off of it unless you are within a couple inches of the electric heater. It is just plain ridiculous how cold the air is in their apartment.

My recommendation would be to get in an apartment with great service or find yourself an electric heater. Where either the utilities are very cheap or they are already included in the price. An electric heater can be a life savor in a situation like my girlfriend's, but I would highly recommend getting heat from something better than a little space heater. One thing that does not help my girlfriends case is her high vaulted ceilings. It takes a lot more money to heat the apartment when there is so much air that needs to be heated up. An electric heater helps, especially when you cuddle up in a blanket next to the heater, but it is definitely more restrictive.

If you are in the same situation as my girlfriend, be sure to look around for a good quality electric heater. It's much better than nothing. The extra heat from the space heater is wonderful. Find a good shop that sales such space heaters. I know that many people shop for the cheapest electric heater they can get their hands on, but be sure that the space heater is something more substantial than something that you can't feel any heat without putting your hand next to it. You will want something to heat up the actual air around you, or at least next to you.

When you have found where you want to shop, the electric heaters are usually next to the hardware and home maintenance section. Look for an electric heater with a built in fan. This will help get the heat coming off of the electric heater and actually get to you. Also, the electric heater should have a fairly long cord. It is awful having a space heater that can only come a foot away from the wall. If that is what you end up getting you will be found curling up to a wall instead of on the couch or somewhere more comfortable. An Electric heater is a great thing for working out in a cold garage or shed. You will not regret purchasing a space heater if you will be doing work in a cold garage.

The electric heater is a great invention. It is a life savor for those who can't afford heating or just don't have it.
