Natural Yeast Infection Cures To Get You Back To Normal

By:

The Candida albicans infection, by its scientific name, is a fungus. It's normal to have a certain amount of it present in our intestinal tract, mouth, throat and genital area. When in normal balance it's harmless. Now when your body's natural balance gets disturbed, this fungus can easily overgrow. Once you have overgrowth, leakage through lesions in the gut membranes into the blood stream is just the next step. Next thing you know you could have to deal with local and yeast systemic infections.

Oil of oregano is also said to be very effective against yeast infection as it contains carvacrol. This oil is easily found in the market and and can be used safely. Oil of oregano can be used topically for home remedies to cure yeast infections and itches or infections of the skin, gums, teeth, and just about any orifice in the body. Exercise care if you use it in the genital region, where it is best mixed with olive oil or coconut oil before application (1 drop per teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil/butter).

Washing the area with diluted apple cider vinegar twice daily will stop the growth of infection. If you have severe itching, one garlic clove can also be added to the mix. Garlic has anti-fungal properties which combats yeast overgrowth.

Another simple yeast infection remedy: Spend 20 minutes a warm bath that has 1/2 cup salt and 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar added. A few drops of tea tree oil in the water will also help.

You can either make your own at-home-douche treatment or you can buy one over the counter containing only water and vinegar. If you choose to make the mixture at home you can use a quart of lukewarm water and three tablespoons of cider vinegar. You can use the mixture as a douche one time each day. You do not want to use the mixture more than once a day; otherwise you may experience vaginal dryness and irritation. This remedy should not be used more than a seven day period.

The consumption of water may sound simple but when you consume enough water it will flush the toxins within your body that the yeast fungus feeds on. When you increase your water consumption you increase your chances of curing and keeping your yeast infection at bay for good.

You can also fill a bathtub with water and add one cup of apple cider vinegar, then soak in it for 30 minutes. After a couple of days, the infection should be gone. Eating plain yogurt is also known to help. Be sure to only consume unsweetened yogurt, as sugar will aggravate the situation. Drink a lot of water to help flush the infection from your system. Avoid foods that feed yeast such as white flour.
