It is the perfect natural alternative if you need a red sheen to your hair. Apply the extract of the herb on your hair and rinse off after one hour.
Turmeric
It helps you to get a yellow or a deep orange touch to your hair. Form a paste by mixing water in turmeric powder. Apply the paste on your hair and rinse off after one hour. The curcumin pigment present in the herb gives the yellow/deep-orange tinge.

Sage
When used on a regular basis - over a long period of time, Sage can assist cover grey hair. Boil 2 cups of water and cup sage in it. For 30 minutes, let the water simmer and then keep it aside for 2-3 hours, to let sage steep well. Strain the decoction and rinse your clean hair with it. Rinse with plain water after drying the hair.

Potatoes
Potato peels help to darken grey hair. Put two potatoes in 3 cups of boiling water after removing the peels. For 10 minutes, let them simmer and remove from heat and strain. You can use the potato on a regular basis, as an after-shampoo rinse.
