The cost of living in today's society is sky high. When you have finished paying the mortgage, gas, heating and other utility bills every month, there is very little spare cash left for things like childcare. This is causing one of two situations to occur. Either people are deciding against having families because they can't afford to or more families are heading back to work in an effort to generate enough income to support the household and the new family member.

There is however another option. There are a number of nanny agency's out there that offer clients the opportunity to hire in a personal nanny, which in certain cases can be cheaper than sending the child to a day care centre. In many cases employing a live in nanny from a nanny agency can provide the household with significant monthly savings. This is because the wage of the employee from the nanny agency is supplemented by the fact that they live with the family.

Another major benefit to hiring a live in nanny from a nanny agency is that your child will be given dedicated care and attention, something that would be impossible to obtain from a day care centre. Having a nanny in the house to look after your child is in effect the same as having one of your there at all times to look after your son or daughter, but allows you the benefit of being able to work from 9 - 5 Monday to Friday and earn two respectable wages to help with the initial cost of your lives.

Day care centres provides, cost effective and good levels of care for your children and provides them with the ability to socialise from a young age. However, some parents find that this is just simply not an affordable solution, as costs of sending a child to day care can be as much as one of the parents wages, making it not a worthwhile experience.

There is nothing to say that you can't have a family in today's society, but it is certainly not something that should be considered lightly. When you contemplate bringing another life into the world, you should make sure that you will be able to provide for that individual. Whether that means that you have to make significant cuts in your own social life, sell prized precessions or hire a live in nanny from a nanny agency whilst you go back to work full time, If you want to have a child, then make sure that you can provide for it after its birth.
