Mysticism was once described as "the pursuit of communication with, identity with, or conscious awareness of an ultimate reality, divinity, spiritual truth, or God through direct experience, intuition, instinct or insight".
Luckily the description leaves some considerable scope for interpretation, and as a consequence a good number of people boasting a range of talents find themselves involved in mystic practice, psychic reading and Mind, Body and Soul products and marketing.
A popular form of marketing within this particular genre is what is known as dropshipping (sometimes written "drop shipping"). This is basically a technique through which the supply chain is managed by a retailer who does not actuallt stock the products, but rather takes orders that are then relayed, either to a wholesaler or to the manufacturer, who in turn ships them directly to the client and pays the retailer an agreed commission.
This practice long predates the coming of the World Wide Web. Nevertheless the arrival of the Internet as a new and original trading medium has created an extraordinary potential for the dropshipper that did not previously exist.
The reason for this is that whilst the intermediary once needed a physical retail outlet, often a physical shop, in order to market the wholesaler's products, all that is needed by the dropshipper who works online is a simple website.
Under these circumstances the explosive growth of third party selling through the Internet can be easily understood. Wholesalers and manufacturers frequently manage a whole portfolio of retailers who will each advertise their products, each of them optimising their own sites and promoting the merchandise in totally different markets.
Thereby dropshipping provides third parties with a unique opportunity to earn extra money by working from home. The real beauty of it is that the market seldom becomes crowded as the potential customer base is global and thus virtually infinite.
In principle
dropshipping runs along similar lines to affiliate marketing, where affiliates receive an agreed commission for vending the goods or services of another business.
There is therefore potentially no limit to the number of
dropshippers that a manufacturer or wholesaler can use, neither is there any limit to the number of suppliers that any one dropshipper can work for.
Mystic dropshipping is a lucrative and rapidly expanding business as those with knowledge and insight to impart do so through a booming affiliate and third party marketing base. Geographical boundaries no longer apply as mysticism in the New Age goes global.
