1. Agree to take part in focus groups. Participants may meet at a specific location or sometime online. The aim of these groups is to share their opinions about products or services
2. Agree to take telephone surveys. Telephone surveys often pay more than surveys you fill in online or by post. So say yes when asked if you would like to take telephone surveys.
3. Always fill in your mystery shopping form on time. If you receive a form in the post return it as quickly as possible as you want to get a name as someone that is reliable and fast at doing mystery shopping jobs.
4. Make time once a month to phone the mystery shopping companies and ask them for feedback. Ask them how you are doing and if there is any more jobs coming up. It pays to sound keen and they will know you are someone that is always after some extra work.
