My Steve Smith Ad-ventures4u Review Is Ad-ventures4u A Scam?

By:

Steve Smith started his revenue share that looked similar to a traffic exchange. The difference is you could earn revenue just by surfing 15 sites a day and making an investment of $10-$10,000. You would earn a percentage based on the revenue that came once a week. You also earned a 15% referral commission for every member in your down line that made an investment once a week. It really was lucrative during the first half of 2009 for the heavy recruiters and ones that made a big investment.

Steve smith appealed to his audience by showing a video of himself and family. He even provided his phone number, address, and gave prompt responses on support tickets. He stressed how they paid on time every week like he said. There was only one late payment in the first half of 2009 because of a payment processor issue he said. He sent very positive emails about other income streams that would continue to grow membership and help the revenue share.

Things changed in late August of 2008 with Ad-ventures4u. Steve Smith sent an email on August 28, 2009 that due to security reason and threats to his family he would close the revenue share. This caused a lot of negative buzz among the moneymaking forums that were supportive of Steve Smith while things were good. Most people assumed the worse that Steve Smith Ad-ventures4u was a scam. He ended up recanting the closing of the revenue share news in an email the next day. However, the revenue share has decreased from twice a week to once a month with low payouts of less then 1 % of the total investment. Steve Smith did stress that he is working on increasing the revenue and he never guaranteed a certain percentage of income.

The change of ad-ventures4u from Steve Smith has gotten people to call it a Ponzi scheme. My review of Steve Smith is that Ad-ventures4u is not a ponzi scheme. It was a bad business model. He gave a lot of hype that you can make money without sponsoring people. This created a membership pool where 90% of the members did not recruit any new members. Soon the top recruiters seen the revenue would slow down so they moved on to another program. The end result is very few people were willing to make investments or refer people to ad-ventures4u. Steve Smith could regain some trust by opening up his lines of communication. He deleted his support ticket system, changed his phone number, and provided email addresses where majority of members say he does not respond to and sometimes they bounce.

I think Steve Smith really thought it would work for the long term. He really is trying to get revenue back up. However, the negativity will scare away new prospects. My lesson learned is to stick with programs that been established if interested in the revenue program. Also traffic exchanges just are not an effective form of advertising your business opportunity. Online programs that encourage sponsoring members and teach you the skills to sponsor will benefit everyone for long-term success. This experience has helped me gain experience at evaluating real money making opportunities and how to generate enough sales to build an income.
