My Mission For Success

By:

OK - many of you have asked (so did I at first!) how do you succeed at internet marketing. Well, It's really no big mystery when you really think about it. You need a plan then you need to follow that plan!

You see I found a program that included training and boy did I need training!! I didn't have a clue about what I didn't know when I started out in internet marketing. I - of course - thought I would be making big bucks within a couple of days - I'm sure you've heard that before - out of your own brain - right?!

Well once reality hit me I settled down and began working in the real world! Through my training I was taught how to set goals, how to work towards those goals and how to understand my own personal abilities and inabilities ( an eye-opener!).

Now that I have been working in the internet marketing world awhile I have devised a basic plan that is working for me so I thought it might work for you too.

First of all you need to understand this. I have a limited amount of income, I have family and bills and a life. I cannot spend thousands of dollars a month (and luckily I found out that I don't have to!) and I cannot spend hundreds of hours a week on the computer. Perhaps you're like this too?! Most of what I'm going to share with you is free and with the help of some automation software it's not too time consuming. I will be listing specific reviews of the automated software and programs I use in my blog over the next few weeks in case your interested.

Here is my basic 'Mission For Success' in 5 Steps:

Submit 100 one way links to all my sites per week. This is free and you can find thousands of them just by Googling 'submit URL free' or words to that effect. This is probably the most time consuming but one of the most important things you can do.

Submit 25 reciprocal links per week. Reciprocal links are links shared between you and another company. Be careful not to submit links with a competitor but instead look for links with a similar company. In otherwords if you are selling shoes - don't link with another shoe store - instead link with a purse store!

Post in your blog at least 5 times a week or more. Don't have a blog - get one - there the hottest things going and the search engines love them. Make sure you blog is linked to your web page.

Write 2 - 3 articles a week. Submit them to at least 5 different article submitters and make sure you have a link to your website at the bottom of your article. Article writing isn't hard but if you would rather - there are many businesses out there that will 'ghost write' an article for you.

Post 25 or more times a week in forums. I personally recommend the Warrior Forum but there are several forums out there dealing with business needs. I recommend you find about 5 different forums that you are comfortable with (some of them are too complicated or not very good!) and post in them regularly.

Ok. That's basically it. Now what you need to do is divide these down into daily tasks. This will be according to your personal schedule. I choose to do a little of all of them on a daily basis. You may want to do thid or maybe you want to work on links on Mondays, forums on Tuesdays and articles on Wednesdays, etc. However you do it - the important thing is to DO IT!

Be consistant - day after day - week after week - month after month. Why? Because you will be building links to your pages, getting search engines to see you, and getting ahead of your competition and to your customers first and make those sales!

By the way - most of this is FREE although you may want to consider link machines and article submitters to speed up the process but you don't have to purchase any of it if you don't want to. JUst use good old fashioned elbow grease! Hey - maybe I should have called this 'Grease Your Way To Success'?!

Is there more you can do? Yes but that's for another article!! Have a great day and get to work!
