The little village of Mutxamel is situated just north of the seaside resort of Alicante. The most important one you can spend the day in is Alicante with all its history and architecture and Benidorm was once a small traditional fishing village but it is now the party capitol of the coast. If you prefer to spend some time on the beach it is only five kilometres from Mutxamel where you will find the famous beach of San Juan. There is over seven kilometres of find sandy beach where you can play or swim to your hearts content. There is also any number of beach activities or water sports on offer here with enough choice to please just about anyone. If you forgot to bring any refreshments with you then dont worry as the beach is lined with beach bars and restaurants where you can escape the hot summer sun. If you are looking for a little privacy then a short stroll down the beach you will find many small coves where you can have a little me time. As you are close to the mountains only a short drive away you can go trekking, fishing and even horse riding.
