Recently released Dragon Age 2 was one of the most anticipated 2011 releases for the PS3. Dragon Age: Origins was one of the most-played games in recent years due to the innovations in graphics and physics; not to mention the incredible story line and game play. Replay ability is an incredible asset to games. Dragon Age 2 provides many roles and options for players to play and replay with a different outcome.

The game almost immediately received a massive following and has only gained popularity over the last 20 years. The "final" game is now up to the 14th installment and is one of the most popular titles in the world.

Compelling storylines, high definition narration, and real time personalized events bring an emersion that many games cannot match. Incredible graphics and a variety of game-play options give players a potentially different experience every time they pick up the controller.

I have read mixed articles if this game will actually be released in October 2011 or not. Batman takes on old foes again in this epic saga, with a whole new city to explore. This time all the cool gadgets you found last game, you will start the game with. The story is loaded with rare characters from the original comic books, a story line you're sure to love.

You must rally other civilizations in the galaxy and launch a final mission to retake the Earth from the alien machines that are bent on the destruction of the human race. This EA RPG is very highly anticipated by those who have enjoyed the franchise over the last few years.

Elder Scrolls 5, November 28, 2011

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was confirmed during the Spike Video Game Awards show in December 2010. We don't have a lot of details on this yet, but we do know Bethesda has created a new graphics engine for this installment. Elder Scrolls: Oblivion stunned many players with it's incredible graphics engine and physics so we patiently await Skyrim.

Other Games throughout the Year

Many other video games are due to release this year and absolutely worth your time to check out. Most of the games mentioned here are continuations of other games that people tend to love and look forward to sequels. Continuation into new and exciting storylines is what makes most of these games the most anticipated 2011 releases for the PS3.

When most gamers begin playing video games by certain publishers or creators, we tend to anticipate new titles by them. Take the opportunity to check out all those old favorites but don't overlook some of the great new titles coming out this year as well.
