First off you need to find a company that has a good reputation for providing quality insurance and good prices. There are some out there that you can turn to even for a month to month policy like you want. Compare the different companies and compare different protection and coverage's to see who will give you a good price.

You decision should be based on all of the following factors for that policy. They include the stability of the company you're dealing with, of course the cost of the policy, and customer service that will be provided. Also what is the reputation of the company, and how are they in handling claims.

One of the main things seems to be that it's very difficult to find a company that is very willing to give you a month to month policy. Most of them will only allow you to purchase policies that will last either six months or a year. But if you are only going to need the policy for a month what do you do?

Well the easiest way to do this is to get a short policy and see if you can cancel it when the month is up. After all what happens if the month goes by and for some reason you will still need the insurance. You will have to go through the process of looking all over again.

There still may be a few options out there for you that will still give you a month to month policy. But they are extremely hard to find. You will still need to use the process up above by getting a good company to find your insurance through.

Just because you only need a policy for a short amount of time it doesn't mean you should settle for worse service. Look around and see if a deal where you can get a policy for only six months is more reasonable in cost. There are even some that you will be able to find that you will need to place very little or no money down on.
