Mold is not safe to have in your home as it can do damage to almost any area and it can create health problems for your bodies. It can release toxins in your home which is very dangerous for you and your family. The toxins can reach up to a dangerous level that can cause major problems. It can harm your body functions and the way you see things. It can cause permanent damage like asthma, disease, and many other things just like these. Mold comes if there is wetness, water damage, or moisture in your house and it can spread fast causing your home to become very unsafe for your family to stay in.

The toxins can hit you right when you walk in the door and you could start to cough and your eyes can start to water and burn. The mold can make your eyes feel like they are on fire, it stings them, turns them red, and it can make them itch like crazy. It can make you dizzy and lightheaded all at the same time and you will feel like you are getting sick. The mold spores can embed in many things and it can they can land on everything. Breathing in mold spores can cause wheezing in your lungs and make it feel like it is hard for you to breathe.

In your home mold will grow and thrive when certain conditions are met. Anywhere there is water or enough moisture,warmth, and food that mold likes to eat, it will appear and grow. One such place carpet that has been wet or shampooed and there is water left in it. Another place would be where a pipe is leaking constantly keeping an area wet. In a bathroom or kitchen where there is constant moisture occurring from cooking or bathing.

Mild cases of mold can usually be cleaned up by the home owner. It is only when the mold has been left to spread into woodwork, drywall, and hidden places under floors and behind walls that a professional water damage company should be brought in. When mold gets bad enough to get into hidden places, it is not likely that home owner will be able to eradicate the problem themselves. The entire home will have to be tested. It can even infiltrate your air vents and duct work for a heating and cooling unit. Any where they find mold will have to be cleaned and disinfected in order to eliminate it. Repairs will have to be made to leaks or other water issues that started it in the first place to prevent it from coming back.
