Moderation Is The Key To Applying Makeup

A woman's dress is just as critical as her makeup. Makeup is one of those things that can bring the whole look together. If you wear a dress without makeup it can look bland. Even if you are the busiest person in the world doing favors for everyone, or going to work, makeup is a vital piece of your beauty. But many women don't completely understand how to apply makeup properly so let's take a look.

The biggest thing women do is to use makeup to cover up rather than to highlight their natural features. You don't need to pack on foundation like a Halloween mask because it will certainly shock people just like that scary day in October.

One way to understand whether you have just over made yourself up is look at the mirror sideways. When you think about it, you will be applying your foundation when you are turned sideways. See, if possible with a hand mirror, whether there is a line that separates your jaw from the neck. In other words, see if the shade of your face and your neck are different or not. If you are not sure, ask someone, who is around.

After you have got the proper amount of makeup on you can start to fix things up and remove some of it. You don't want the makeup to clash with your face or with your dress.

If you have pale skin, then don't cover it up. If you have dark skin, do not lighten it up. Wear your complexion proudly, and you will definitely look much more attractive in that.

Even eyeliner is something that is abused often. Many people use eyeliner to make a frame around the eye when it should just be used to line the lashes. You just want your eyes to look natural and not too big or too small. So now you know that there is no need to run out with bad makeup.
