Model Behavior: Gisele Bndchen

Bundchen was born in Brazil and was discovered by a modeling agency at age 13. Three years later she moved to New York City and debuted as a model at Fashion Week.

By 1999 Bundchen made her debut on the cover of Vogue magazine; she would appear on the magazines cover two more times that year. That same year she won top honors as the VH1/Vogue magazine Model of the Year and again appeared on the cover of Vogue magazine in January 2000.

Rolling Stone put her on its cover in 2000 and declared her the most beautiful girl in the world. Since then Bundchen has graced the covers of every top fashion magazine including W, Harpers Bazaar, Elle, Allure and Marie Claire including international editions. She has also appeared on the covers of lifestyle magazines like GQ, Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair and been mentioned in mainstream news and business magazines like Time, Forbes and Newsweek.

In addition to her modeling for magazines, Bundchen has been the face of many high-profile advertising campaigns including fashion designers Christian Dior, Balenciaga, Dolce & Gabana, Ralph Lauren, Valentina, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors. Perhaps most noticeably in the United States she was a frequent model and spokesperson for Victorias Secret up until 2007.

Celebrity magazines like US Weekly, People, OK! Magazine and Star reported that Bundchen dated actor Leonardo DiCaprio and surfer Kelly Slater. By late 2006 Bundchen was dating famed professional football player Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots.

In 2008 Forbes magazine named Bundchen the highest-paid model on their annual The Worlds 15 Top-Earning Models. Bundchen landed the spot with her earnings of a cool $35 million from 20 contracts.

Bundchen made more news in 2008 when she appeared on the April cover of Vogue magazine with basketball superstar LeBron James, in which critics perceived as a controversial King Kong-pose.

In 2009 Bundchen and Brady tied the knot in Los Angeles. The couple has garnered a lot of attention from celebrity magazines because Bradys ex-girlfriend, actress Bridget Moynahan, gave birth to the couples son, 18 months ago.

Currently Bundchen is featured on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine under the headline The Most Beautiful Woman in the World. She is featured in a provocative photo spread and discusses the challenges of her relationship with Brady in the issue.
