Mens Fashion And Hair Dying

By:

There are many occasions that a man may want to dye his hair and there are many great reasons for doing so. These reasons range from trying to get rid of that gray, to making a hot new look to go out in the clubs and attract as much attention as possible. Men are now allowed to dye their hair without any fear of stigmatism.

Even so, there are maybe only approximately 15% of the hair-dyeing products in the typical drug store that are marketed towards men; however this amount is steadily increasing. Also the anti-graying products like Grecian formula and the 5-minute get-rid-of-the-gray for men that also include dyeing products for hair, beards, and moustaches are really exceptional products.

They have been designed to work fast, in about five minutes, can be used on sensitive areas like the face, and give results that look very natural. Women may have had hair-dying products for much longer than men, and they have many more choices, but the newest hair-coloring products for men are showing themselves to be superior to the products that are offered for women.

We know of one elderly lady that doesn't want the harsh hair-dyeing products for females and uses Just-For-Men to put some natural looking color back into her hair without the effect of a hair color change that looks absurd for a person of her age. She swears by the products designed for men, as being superior to the products for women, especially the products for elderly women, that often end up giving them "blue" hair when they try to get rid of the gray.

Women have the history of dying their hair. The process started out when the hair had to be bleached to have no color as the first step to adding back the new color. That is why most of the women's products are more harsh than the newer designs for men. The harsher dye kits use strong chemicals to strip the color from the hair, then add it back.

For most men there is no need to strip the color from the hair, it is better to add color that enhances their looks. Of course it is still possible to bleach out the hair for men, which would be necessary in the case of trying to change from dark hair to surfer blond. This is a great look for younger guys, but older guys look stupid if they try this. Older guys look better taking their hair to a slightly darker color rather than trying to lighten it up. Elvis Pressley was the first to try this.

Few people know that his natural hair color was a lighter sandy (also called dirty) blonde. Elvis dyed his hair black when no guys would even consider dying their hair, but he was clever enough to know that the darker hair created a striking frame of color around his face and millions of young girls at that time agreed with him. Don't be afraid to dye your hair.

If you want to approach this with caution you can use any of the five minute products that only give you a color enhancement but don't make such a dramatic change that you will have to explain what you have done to everyone.
