Medical marijuana is yet a matter of debate in United States of America. They also need to pass certain medical tests in order to confirm one of the recognized medical conditions which might be cured by the medical marijuana treatment.

After getting the prescription for medical marijuana, you cant just go out and purchase it on the street, or in most cases grow yourself. As per the medical marijuana laws, you can only buy it from a licensed medical marijuana dispensary which usually looks like a pharmacy. Only buy from that medical marijuana dispensary which is licensed to grow and dispense the medical marijuana. Every medical marijuana dispensary must be licensed by the government. Moreover, you also need to adhere to your State Regulations regarding the use of medical marijuana at your workplace. You must obey the medical marijuana laws of your state. Moreover, you must ensure that you have all the documents that are compulsory for the medical marijuana treatment as per the medical marijuana laws of your state.

The new economic development is appearing in the states where medical marijuana is legalized. Medical marijuana dispensaries are helping the patients who actually need medical marijuana for the treatment of their severe illness. Although 16 states of USA have legalized the medical use of marijuana, but the patients are still at risk of arrest by DEA because medical use of marijuana is still prohibited by the federal laws. In those 16 States, every year the bills are taken in to further regulate medical marijuana or to use it unlawful again. The battle to ban or legalize medical marijuana rages in other 34 states and at the federal level as well.
